TENDER DESCRIPTION
The municipalities of Borsdorf, Brandis, Großpösna, Naunhof, Belgershain, Parthenstein and Machern, which are located between the medium-sized centers of Wurzen and Grimma in the district of Leipzig, already came together in November 2018 at first, within the framework of a Letter of Intent, in order to be able to establish intermunicipal cooperation within this consortium in the future. Building on this, an Intermunicipal Cooperation Agreement with the aforementioned municipalities was then concluded in the first quarter of 2025. The Intermunicipal Cooperation Agreement is attached to this tender. In the recent past, these municipalities have already implemented a large number of cooperative measures and projects together for the positive development of the Parthe region. These measures also include the creation of intermunicipal structures among the above seven municipalities to address structural change. In doing so, work was carried out substantially on the basis of support from the funding programme STARK.
