TENDER DESCRIPTION

Stadtwerke Bielefeld operate a heterogeneous IT landscape with a variety of applications and systems. The management of user identities and access rights is currently carried out partially in a decentralized and system-related manner. To improve the control of identities and permissions, a central structure for managing digital identities is being established within the framework of an IAM project. The aim of the IAM project is the introduction of a central IAM service for managing digital identities as well as structured and role-based allocation of permissions to applications and systems. For this purpose, an IAM governance structure is to be established and a technical IAM solution introduced and rolled out. Specifically, this means the further development of IAM processes, the design of a roles and permissions model, the introduction of a central IAM solution as well as integration of applications (from Q3 2027) and the preparation of organizational structures for the future operation of the IAM service.
