TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the road operations service of the Enzkreis district authority (Landratsamt Enzkreis), a multi-purpose vehicle/compact light-duty truck with a front-mounted snowplow blade, a wedge snowplow and a salt spreading unit is to be procured. It is intended that, using this vehicle, winter services and traffic safety on the cycle paths running alongside the roads are ensured throughout the entire area of responsibility. In addition, the vehicle is to be compatible with the attachment devices already available (e.g. a traffic bollard washing device). Due to the sometimes small widths of the cycle paths (often under three metres), the vehicle should be dimensioned accordingly and have a total mass not exceeding 7500 kg. The spreading unit shall be suitable for FS 30 and FS 100. The wedge snowplow in its narrowest position shall not be extremely wider than the vehicle in order to ensure access through narrow cycle paths. This also applies to the front-mounted snowplow blade.
