TENDER DESCRIPTION

Tasks of the general planner (GP) The GP is the central control body. It also provides the overarching monitoring of dates, budgets and quality standards. These include: Scheduling and monitoring: coordinating all trades, coordinating design stages and ensuring consistent progress of the project. Cost framework and budget control: reviewing design variants, estimating the effects on costs and early identification of potential savings. Ensuring design quality: compliance with technical standards, rules and regulatory requirements, in particular in sensitive areas such as teaching laboratories. Risk management and early identification of problems: identifying deviations, bottlenecks or design risks and initiating suitable countermeasures. The communication structure, decision paths and reporting are specified in the organisational manual and are to be implemented by the GP. If adjustments are required as part of the project schedule, these will be coordinated between the contracting authority (AG) and the contractor (AN) and recorded in the organisational manual.
