TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung mbH (BGE), hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority (AG), is the operator of the repository for radioactive waste Morsleben (ERAM) in Saxony-Anhalt, near the border with Lower Saxony. Between 1971 and 1991, and again from 1994 to 1998, a total of approximately 37,000 cubic meters of low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste were disposed of here. In future, the repository is to be decommissioned while the waste remains in place. For performing mining activities such as drilling and boring work, reworking the contours of headings, drilling blast holes and anchor holes, as well as loading spoil, a self-propelled multifunction device with a cable-connected, electric drive shall be procured. Due to local conditions, an underground travel system with a crawler track with rubber track is necessary.
