TENDER DESCRIPTION

To ensure that the upper and lower fire command can communicate reliably at all times, the Ministry of the Interior procured Iridium PTT satellite radio terminals from the company abel & käufl Mobilfunkhandels GmbH in 2024, including the associated infrastructure environment “K-Funk”. The radio terminals to be delivered must be compatible with the system of abel & käufl Mobilfunkhandels GmbH that is already being operated and must be integrated there. The scope of delivery also includes the required connection cables, antenna components and 230V power supplies. Furthermore, the service includes the basic configuration of the device software, the initial installation and commissioning of the devices, as well as the provision of the required software updates and a suitable tool for future software updates in the existing K-Funk system. The use of the existing K-Funk call groups is to be ensured. Operating costs must be taken into account up to the end of the contract term on 14.05.2030.
