TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to procure up to 2 low-floor solo buses with electric drive (electric buses) to electrify the bus fleet. The technical requirements and further performance items are set out in Annex 6. The electric buses are intended to be used in public local passenger transport. The final planning regarding whether electric buses are required, how many electric buses are required and on which transport services they are to be deployed has not been possible to date. Due to funding-related deadlines, the final planning could not be awaited. Therefore, the contracting authority awards a framework agreement for the electric buses (see Annex 8, Section 2). Depending on requirements, the contracting authority will place orders for between 0 and a maximum of 2 vehicles under the framework agreement. There is no obligation for the contracting authority to accept delivery under the framework agreement. The latest delivery date for the vehicles is 31.10.2028. The earliest point in time is 01.12.2027. The contractor agrees the exact delivery date of the vehicles within this time window with the contracting authority.
