TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to procure a total of up to 4 low-floor single buses and one low-floor articulated bus (5 buses) with electric drive to electrify the bus fleet. The technical requirements and other scope of services are set out in the specifications (Annex 6). The electric buses are intended to be used in local public passenger transport. The final planning as to whether electric buses are required, how many electric buses are required and on which services they will be deployed has not been possible to date. Due to funding-related deadlines, the final planning could not be awaited. Therefore, the contracting authority is putting out a framework agreement for the electric buses (see Annex 8, Section 2). Depending on demand, the contracting authority will place orders for 0 single buses up to a maximum of 4 single buses and for 0 to 1 articulated bus from the framework agreement. There is no obligation on the contractor to accept delivery under the framework agreement. The latest delivery date for the vehicles is 31.3.2028.
