TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to procure a total of up to 4 low-floor single buses and one low-floor articulated bus (5 buses) with an electric drive for the electrification of the bus fleet. The technical requirements and further performance items are to be found in the specifications (Annex 6). The electric buses are intended to be used in local public passenger transport. The final planning as to whether electric buses are needed, how many electric buses are needed and in which traffic services they are to be used has not been possible so far. Due to funding/legal deadlines, the final planning could not be awaited. Therefore, the contracting authority is issuing a framework agreement for the electric buses (see Annex 8, Section 2). Depending on demand, the contracting authority will place call-offs for 0 single buses up to a maximum of 4 single buses and 0 up to one articulated bus from the framework agreement. There is no obligation to accept delivery on the part of the contractor under the framework agreement. The latest delivery date for the vehicles is 31.3.2028.
