TENDER DESCRIPTION

Framework agreement for awarding a contract for the procurement of up to 30 ballast distribution and grading machines. Procedure: Negotiated procedure with prior competitive bidding Client: DB BahnbauGruppe GmbH. Key requirements for the vehicles (non-exhaustive): a. Efficient plough technology (side, shoulder and central plough) for producing ballast profiles in accordance with Ril 824; adjustable plough geometry (height, angle, offset) with reproducible accuracy b. Working output ≥ 1500 m/h with profile production compliant with the regulations c. Suitability for all track superstructure types (concrete, timber and plastic sleepers), as well as tracks and switches/points; capable of working at a minimum curve radius of 170 m and at superelevations up to 180 mm d. Use in the DB network (at least line category D2) with proof of full approval after the 4th Railway Package e. Equipment with ETCS in accordance with the requirements in the specifications (performance specification) and the TSI f. The cab(s) are ergonomic, user-friendly, air-conditioned, heated and suitable for transporting workers g. Further requirements in accordance with the tender documents
