TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Viersen intends, at several school sites, to build new cafeterias as well as new classrooms and rooms for directly associated ancillary uses. The current cafeterias and kitchens are out of date with regard to their floor area and dimensions and, in the longer term, are to be put to other uses. With the new cafeterias including kitchen areas, significant new potential will be created for reorganising the facilities. The additional classrooms and directly associated ancillary uses are to be used to implement a modern approach to teaching (cluster system). Specifically, these additional requirements arise from - chair storage for cafeterias for multifunctional use as an auditorium, - material storage for the school and OGS, - offices for (social-)educational staff, - shared centre(s) in accordance with the cluster, - team station(s) in accordance with the cluster, - the need for modern equipment with a focus on the school entry phase (year groups 1 (and 2)).
