TENDER DESCRIPTION

The work to be carried out is located in the Rivierengebied maintenance area of the province of Gelderland. The work mainly consists of: a. Maintenance of green areas b. Maintenance of paved surfaces c. Maintenance of catch basins and line gutters d. Maintenance of road furniture e. Applying temporary traffic measures f. Carrying out ancillary work The contract is concluded for a period of three (3) years, with (1) possible extension of three (3) years. Clean and emission-free construction (SEB) The amount of nitrogen emissions must be reduced, as well as greenhouse gas and fine particle emissions. To achieve these objectives, the province of Gelderland has, in the context of IPO cooperation, signed the SEB covenant. This means that the province commits to requesting all light equipment with zero emissions (ZE) from 01-01-2028 and, from 2035, also heavy equipment. The province also aims to introduce light equipment at an accelerated pace during the course of 2027.
