TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this lot is the operation of the passive fiber-optic network (FTTB) constructed and to be constructed in the cadastral district of Balgheim as part of the funded expansion of the gray spots (operator model according to No. 3.2 of the Gigabit Guideline in the version of 26.04.2021), including later network extensions (e.g. additional densification in the localities or development of construction areas) within the cadastral district. Handover of the operational sub-networks to the network operator is planned from 2027; completion of implementation is planned for 2028. Via a service concession, the network operator ensures network operation including the construction and operation of the active technology and provides Internet and telecommunications services, also as a bundle offer, to private and business end customers. The network operator is also responsible for granting open network access (Open Access) with active and passive wholesale products; the wholesale prices that have been set as binding by the Federal Government with the involvement of the Bundesnetzagentur are considered a maximum ceiling.
