TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this lot is the operation of the passive fibre-optic network (FTTB) that has been constructed or is to be constructed in the cadastral area of Balgheim as part of the funded expansion of the “grey spots” (operator model in accordance with No. 3.2 of the Gigabit Guidelines in the version dated 26.04.2021), including subsequent network extensions (e.g. densification measures in the localities or development of building areas) within the cadastral area. Handover of the operational sub-networks to the network operator is planned from 2027; completion of implementation is planned for 2028. Via a service concession, the network operator ensures network operation including construction and operation of the active technology and provides Internet and telecommunications services, including as a bundled offer, to private and business end customers. The network operator is also responsible for granting open network access (Open Access) with active and passive wholesale products; the wholesale prices set in a binding manner by the Federal Government with the participation of the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) are deemed to be an upper limit.
