TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the management of reprocessable surgical instrument sets, including organisation, control, performance, documentation, quality assurance and follow-up of measures for maintenance and repair, with the aim of restoring and ensuring the instrument sets’ functionality, safety, availability and proper readiness for use in compliance with the applicable statutory, standardisation and manufacturer requirements. The service in particular includes identifying and addressing the need for repair, the technical assessment of damage patterns, carrying out or initiating suitable repair measures taking into account the manufacturer’s specifications, checking the safety- and function-relevant characteristics that may be affected by the measure, carrying out and documenting quality-assurance measures, the documented release, returning to the supply and reprocessing cycle, and providing evaluations, reports and evidence to ensure traceability.
