Partial overhaul of biogas plant gas engines and related construction works for Tettye Forrásház Zrt. The replacement of the ENER-G 500B type biogas engine Perkins 4008-30 TRS2 type engine block operating in a biogas plant located at the wastewater treatment plant of the Pécs-centred agglomeration (7634 Pécs, Állomás utca 40.) in a biogas facility operated by TETTYE FORRÁSHÁZ Zrt., with a nominal electrical capacity of 506 kW. The regular, monthly maintenance carried out by a specialist service ensures the engine’s current reliable operation; however, the equipment’s operating time approaches the manufacturer’s specified planned service life of 48,000 operating hours. Further operation as the critical operating hour limit is approached may entail increased risk. In order to maintain safe and continuous operation, the replacement of the engine block becomes justified. In addition to replacing the engine block, the construction works also include replacing the exhaust gas heat exchanger of biogas engine No. 1.
