TENDER DESCRIPTION

With the "Circular Economy Catalysis Center Aachen - Circular," an internationally outstanding and interdisciplinary research center on the topic of multidimensional circular economy is to be established at RWTH Aachen. The aim is to research new methods of chemical recycling in the field of the plastics market. This is to be achieved through the development of tailor-made catalyst systems, process and procedure development, product design, and the integration of renewable raw material and energy sources into the recycling process. The Circular is being constructed on the Melaten campus on Forckenbeckstraße between NGP2 and the Melaten South parking garage (see Annex 1 / site plan). It is thus located in direct spatial proximity to the Institute for Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry (ITMC), the biological and biotechnological institutes, and Aachen Process Engineering (AVT). The commissioning management must be coordinated closely with the architectural planning, structural engineering, and building services planning already in the early performance phases.
