TENDER DESCRIPTION

The workshop hall from 1957—used by RWTH Aachen with the Institute for Materials Applications in Mechanical Engineering (IWM)—is to be renovated. The measures concept provides for a 1:1 refurbishment in accordance with current best technology and the renewed provision in line with the original use. The workshop hall is located within the scope of the statute “Denkmalbereich Innenstadt” (city centre listed-heritage area). It is not subject to monument protection, but it is subject to ensemble protection. The back building and the institute building connected via an adjoining passage are subject to comprehensive monument protection. Task: Review of the structural planning in accordance with § 12 SV-VO. This includes: - Checking the structural planning - Reviewing the construction drawings - Monitoring the execution - Aligning the SV activities with the planning and construction process and timely integration into the project schedule PLEASE NOTE: THE AWARD IS MADE IN THIS PROCEDURE TO A TENDER SELECTED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE LOT PROCEDURE.
