TENDER DESCRIPTION

Project description: Remediation of contaminants and demolition of the Viktoriabad and the city museum, while simultaneously preserving the listed facade facing Belderberg. Project in a central location in Bonn. The objective of the construction project is the complete demolition of the existing structures down to the upper edge of the ground floor slabs, excluding structural components that are relevant for the neighboring development. The building demolition is to be carried out while complying with the requirements in the demolition notice submitted to the City of Bonn. At the time of the demolition planning, there are no details or planning documents available regarding the planned new build including associated structural engineering. With regard to demolition, a feasibility study is available that includes a structural assessment of the relevant demolition steps, of the listed facade at Belderberg, and of the necessary shoring and securing measures for the resulting construction pit.
