TENDER DESCRIPTION

Project description: hazardous substance remediation and demolition of the Viktoriabad and the city museum, while maintaining the listed façade towards Belderberg. Project located in an inner-city area in Bonn. The objective of the construction project is the complete demolition of the existing buildings up to the top edge of the ground floor slabs excluding statically relevant components for the adjacent development. The building demolition is to be carried out in compliance with the requirements in the demolition notification to the City of Bonn. At the time of the demolition planning, no information or planning documents are available for the planned new construction including associated structural engineering. With regard to the demolition, a feasibility study with a structural assessment is available for the relevant demolition steps, for the listed façade at Belderberg, as well as for the necessary shoring and securing measures for the excavation pit that will be created.
