TENDER DESCRIPTION

BMPII Backnang For the measure BMPII Backnang – Renewal of Platform 2 and construction of a new lift for Platform 3, comprehensive renewal and modernisation of the transport facilities at Backnang railway station is planned. For this purpose, the existing centre platform 2 will be dismantled, shortened, and then fully rebuilt. As part of the renewal of the platforms, the required 50 Hz measures will also be implemented and the separation of services will be established. In addition, the existing pedestrian underpass will be renovated, including the associated 50 Hz facilities. Furthermore, a new lift will be constructed at Platform 3, which will be connected to the municipal pedestrian overpass. In addition, filling of an existing vault in the area of Platform 3 is planned. In parallel with the measures described above, work on the overhead line equipment (OLA) and measures relating to signalling and control technology (LST) will be carried out in the project area.
