TENDER DESCRIPTION

The forest and nature areas to be maintained are located within or in the immediate vicinity of the municipal boundaries of the municipality of Eersel. The exact boundaries and location are included in the policy plan. The contracting authority does not choose to apply lots for the following reason: the coherence over time (cycle), and the techniques and materials between the various activities are such that describing the activities in lots is not desirable. In addition, the Contracting Party wants, in the event of defects, issues relating to warranties, etc., to deal with a single party that is liable, and not with multiple parties that try to shift liability with respect to these matters onto each other. The agreement is entered into with one supplier for an initial term of 5 years and takes effect after signature. After the initial term of 5 years, the agreement ends automatically by operation of law. For the period after the initial term, there are two optional extensions that may be invoked by the contracting authority: the first extension for a period of 3 years and the second extension for a period of 2 years.
