General description of the design task: Design usable floor area: 2,157 m2. The medium-term objective of the design is the function-converting rehabilitation of the entire educational complex located on the plot at Baross u. 39-43 in District IV of Budapest, and the use of the existing school buildings for residential purposes, with their complete architectural and energy refurbishment. The development - in line with the social and housing policy objectives of the Municipality of the Capital City of Budapest - serves to expand the supply of affordable rental housing. The duty of the successful tenderer (hereinafter: the Designer) is to carry out the general design for the conversion of an existing, unused school building [Building “B” at Baross u. 39-43, District IV of Budapest (Property identification number: Hrsz.: 73844)] into a building suitable for habitation, including its complete architectural and energy renovation: for the residential re-utilisation, refurbishment and conversion of the external walls of the property owned by the City/Metropolitan Municipality, and the residential re-utilisation, refurbishment and conversion of floors 1, 2 and 3; preparing plan materials…
