TENDER DESCRIPTION

On the site of the former transmitting station on the outskirts of Jülich, and in immediate proximity to the campus of FH Aachen, a science park and innovative commercial/industrial area are currently being developed with an area of approximately 52 ha (hereinafter: "Brainergy Park Jülich"). The contracting authority (AG) has the task of supplying the properties in Brainergy Park with heat. The buildings are to be supplied with heat via a nearly CO₂-neutral district heating system. This water-filled LowEx network is operated by a central energy plant, which provides cooling in summer and heat in winter. The heat is provided decentrally by heat pump systems installed in containers. On the property of Brainergy Park Energie GmbH in Brainergy Park in Jülich, as part of the expansion of the district heating network, an energy plant will be erected as a new building in timber construction. The new building is divided into a hall and a three-storey building component.
