TENDER DESCRIPTION
On the site of the former transmitting station at the outskirts of Jülich and in immediate proximity to the campus of FH Aachen, a science park and innovative commercial area with an area of approx. 52 ha is currently being developed (hereinafter: “Brainergy Park Jülich”). The contracting authority’s task is to supply the properties in Brainergy Park with heat. The buildings are to be supplied with heat via an almost CO₂-neutral district heating system. This water-filled LowEx network is operated by a central energy centre, which provides cooling in summer and heat in winter. The subject of this procurement procedure is a contract for the delivery, installation and commissioning assistance of heat and cold storage units.
