TENDER DESCRIPTION
On the site of the former transmitting station on the outskirts of Jülich, and in immediate proximity to the campus of FH Aachen, a science park and an innovative commercial estate are currently being developed with approximately 52 hectares of area (hereinafter: “Brainergy Park Jülich”). The contracting authority has the task of supplying the properties in Brainergy Park with heat. The buildings are to be supplied with heat via an almost CO₂-neutral district heating system. This water-filled LowEx network is operated by a central energy centre, which provides cooling in summer and heat in winter. The subject of this procurement procedure is a contract for the supply, installation and commissioning assistance of heat and cooling storage units.
