TENDER DESCRIPTION
On the site of the former broadcasting facility on the outskirts of Jülich and in immediate proximity to the campus of FH Aachen, a science park and an innovative industrial/commercial area with approx. 52 ha of land are currently being created (hereinafter: “Brainergy Park Jülich”). The contracting authority’s task is to supply the properties in Brainergy Park with heat. The buildings are to be supplied with heat via an almost CO₂-neutral district heating system. This water-filled LowEx network is operated by a central energy centre, which provides cooling in summer and heat in winter. Heat is provided decentrally by heat pump systems installed in containers. On the plot of land of Brainergy Park Energie GmbH in Brainergy Park in Jülich, in the course of the expansion of the heat supply network, an energy centre is being constructed as new build in timber construction. The new build is divided into a hall and a 3-storey building block.
