TENDER DESCRIPTION

On the site of the former transmitting station on the outskirts of Jülich and in immediate proximity to the campus of FH Aachen, a science park and an innovative industrial/commercial area are currently being developed with an area of approx. 52 hectares (hereinafter: “Brainergy Park Jülich”). The contracting authority (CA) has the task of supplying the properties in Brainergy Park with heat. The buildings are to be supplied with heat via an almost CO₂-neutral district heating system. This water-filled LowEx network is operated by a central energy centre, which provides cooling in summer and heat in winter. The heat is provided decentrally by heat pump systems housed in containers. On the plot of land of Brainergy Park Energie GmbH in Brainergy Park in Jülich, as part of the extension of the district heating network, an energy centre is to be constructed as a new building in timber construction.
