TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement requirement consists of the supply of diesel (B0 or HVO100) under a flexible contract pending the outcomes of the HVO100 pilot Wortman and the resilience project with regard to the establishment of a strategic fuel stock. For this tender, the contract value is primarily established on the basis of the estimated quantity of fuel to be taken (litres), rather than solely an amount in euros. The reason is that fuel prices (Diesel B0 and HVO100) are volatile and therefore an amount of money without a reference price date or indexing/price mechanism is insufficiently stable to properly define the need. Assuming a maximum contract duration of four (4) years, the estimated baseline volume of the Contract is approximately 440,000 litres of fuel. Including the optional one-off deliveries totalling 52,000 litres and the optional annual deliveries of 20,000 litres per year, the total potential volume of the Contract is approximately 572,000 litres of fuel.
