TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Fichtenau has decided, with the help of the "Zweckband Breitband Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall", to have a fiber-optic network infrastructure built for nationwide broadband coverage for citizens and businesses in the under-served areas of the project area and to lease it to a telecommunications company (operator). The technical concept provides for an FTTB network infrastructure intended to ensure complete coverage of all households and commercial enterprises in the expansion area. For this purpose, excavations and the installation of pipe materials using open construction methods in trenches, trenchless pipe-laying works as well as the erection of passive infrastructure, setting of manholes, cable cabinets, pulling-in and installing LWL cables are necessary.
