TENDER DESCRIPTION
The municipality of Fichtenau has decided to commission the construction of a fibre-optic network infrastructure for comprehensive broadband coverage for citizens in the underserved areas of the project area, with the help of the "Zweckband Breitband Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall" (special-purpose association for broadband, Schwäbisch Hall district), and to lease it out to a telecommunications company (operator). The technical concept provides for an FTTB network infrastructure, which is intended to ensure 100% coverage of all households and businesses in the expansion area. For this purpose, excavation work and the laying of conduit materials using an open construction method in trenches, trenchless conduit laying work, as well as the installation of passive infrastructure, setting of manholes, cable cabinets, the pulling-in and the installation of LWL cables are necessary.
