TENDER DESCRIPTION
The City of Schrozberg has decided, with the help of the “Zweckband Breitband Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall” (special-purpose association for broadband in the district of Schwäbisch Hall), to have a fibre-optic network infrastructure built to ensure nationwide broadband coverage for the citizens in the under-served areas of the project area and to lease it out to a telecoms company (operator). The technical concept provides for an FTTB network infrastructure intended to ensure 100% connection of all households and businesses in the expansion area. For this purpose, excavations and the laying of pipe materials using open construction methods in trenches, trenchless pipe-laying works, and the installation of passive infrastructure, including setting manholes, cable cabinets, the pulling-in and installation of LWL cables, are necessary.
