Construction and modernization of shoulders within the territory of Gmina Baranów – “Central Communication Port Investment Programme. Stage II. 2024-2030”, part of the CPK Programme is the “Socio-Economic Programme” 1. The subject of the construction undertaking is the modernization of the shoulders of municipal roads, which will allow their pavement/surfacing to be adapted to requirements enabling the use of vehicles when performing passing/meeting manoeuvres, especially in the case of the existing road cross-section – a single-lane two-way road where it is not possible to perform such a manoeuvre due to reduced carriageway width. The purpose of carrying out the shoulder modernization is to increase the safety of road users. 2. Existing condition: Based on a review of the existing technical condition of municipal roads, significant defects and depressions in the earthen areas were found, with shoulders partially reinforced with aggregate. Such a condition creates a safety hazard for road users.
