TENDER DESCRIPTION

VE 3.3-11.1 Metalwork in accordance with DIN 18360 On the adjacent property at Leipziger Straße 2 in Berlin-Mitte, an extension with a visitor centre is being constructed to the existing building of the Federal Council (Bundesrat). As part of the construction of the extension’s excavation pit, the West wing was structurally strengthened – of the listed (former) Prussian gentlemen’s residence (today: Bundesrat). After completion of the strengthening, restoration of the West wing begins. The services advertised here relate exclusively to the listed existing building. Type and scope of the service: - Approx. 75 m² installation of new suspended ceilings as a grid (truss) ceiling with light coves (approx. 35 m) and point lights (28 units) - Approx. 390 m² dismantling and reinstatement of existing grid (truss) ceilings - Approx. 635 m² reinstallation of stored metal ceiling panels - Approx. 490 m² newly applying acoustic felt layer to metal ceiling panels Performance dates: Start of performance: 11/2026 End of performance: 12/2027
