Bundesstadt Bonn, Arbeitspaket "Migrationsunterstützung UDP" im Rahmen des Projekts Urban Data Management (UDM)

TENDER DESCRIPTION

In September 2024, the implementation phase in the project "Establishing the Urban Data Platform (UDP) and migrating the geoinformation system (GIS)" began. The Federal City of Bonn is building the UDP on the open-source project Civitas Core. With the Universal Urban Data App add-on, the foundations are in place that allow applications from the old GIS to be migrated to the UDP. During the concept phase of the project, around 300 applications to be migrated were identified. 80 percent of these applications support the execution of statutory benefits. Since the previous GIS can no longer be operated, the migration must be carried out as quickly as possible. A valid estimate determines a total effort of 5197 person-days (PT). This effort will be performed mainly by internal staff in the 3 areas of requirement clarification, development and support. In the procurement, support services with a volume of roughly 650 PT up to the year 2028 are to be purchased. Due to the ongoing support provided by AI, the contracting authority assumes that the migration duration can be significantly reduced.
