Bundesstadt Bonn, Arbeitspaket "Migrationsunterstützung UDP" im Rahmen des Projekts Urban Data Management (UDM)

TENDER DESCRIPTION

In September 2024, the implementation phase began in the project "Building Urban Data Platform (UDP) and migration of the geoinformation system (GIS)". When building the UDP, the Federal City of Bonn relies on the open source project Civitas Core. With the Universal Urban Data App add-on, the prerequisites are in place that allow applications of the old GIS to be migrated to the UDP. In the design phase of the project, around 300 applications to be migrated were identified. 80 percent of these applications support the implementation of statutory benefits. Since the previous GIS can no longer be operated, the migration must be carried out as quickly as possible. A reliable estimate determines a total effort of 5,197 person-days (PD). This effort will be carried out mainly by internal staff in the 3 areas of requirements clarification, development and support. In the procurement, support services amounting to roughly 650 PD are to be purchased up to the year 2028.
