Phases and components of the service: The overall service is divided into a preceding concept and planning phase and the subsequent physical relocation phase. Phase 1: Concept service (preliminary) Before the start of relocation logistics, the contractor shall prepare a detailed relocation, logistics and quality concept. This must, among other things and in particular, map: - capacity planning, - the scheduling (timing) of the holdings, - the logistics for the sensitive photographic materials and fragile documents, and - the system for storing the materials in the new roll-shelving systems. The concept must be closely coordinated with the contracting authority’s relocation management. Phase 2: Relocation execution Local framework conditions: The relocation will be carried out from the central location in Bonn-Zentrum, where approximately 17.5 shelf kilometres of the overall holdings are stored, and from the off-site storage facility also located in the city of Bonn, where approximately 4 shelf kilometres of the overall holdings are stored, to the new location in Bonn-Zentrum.
