Phases and components of the service: The overall service is divided into a preceding concept and planning phase and the subsequent physical move phase. Phase 1: Concept service (preliminary) Before the start of move logistics, the contractor shall prepare a detailed move, logistics and quality concept. This must, among other things and in particular, include capacity planning, schedule the movement of the holdings, provide logistics for the sensitive photographic material and fragile documents, and describe the systematics for storage in the new mobile shelving systems. The concept must be closely coordinated with the client’s move management. Phase 2: Move execution Local framework conditions: The move will be carried out from the central location in Bonn-Zentrum, where approximately 17.5 shelf kilometres of the total holdings are stored, and from the off-site storage facility, also located within the city area of Bonn, where approximately 4 shelf kilometres of the total holdings are stored, to the new location in Bonn-Zentrum.
