Phases and components of the service: The overall service is divided into a preceding concept and planning phase as well as the subsequent physical relocation phase. Phase 1: Conceptual service (preliminary) Before the start of the relocation logistics, the contractor must prepare a detailed relocation, logistics and quality concept. This must, among other things and in particular, cover capacity planning, the scheduling/intervals of the holdings, logistics for sensitive photographic materials and fragile documents, and the systematics for storing in the new mobile compact shelving systems. The concept must be closely coordinated with the contracting authority’s relocation management. Phase 2: Relocation execution Local framework conditions: The relocation will be carried out from the central site in Bonn-Centrum, where about 17.5 shelf kilometres of the total holdings are stored, and from an external storage location also located in the city of Bonn, where about 4 shelf kilometres of the total holdings are stored, to the new site in Bonn-Centrum.
