TENDER DESCRIPTION
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (The Authority) is to appoint a supplier to provide generation equipment, training smoke fluids, and associated maintenance and support services used within firefighter training environments. The Authority delivers a range of operational training activities including: - Breathing Apparatus (BA) training - Search and Rescue exercises - Incident Command simulations - Fire Behaviour Training Smoke generation is a critical component of realistic training environments, enabling the simulation of zero-visibility conditions. The Authority currently utilises portable smoke generation systems across multiple training sites. The systems require ongoing servicing, maintenance and consumable supply.
