TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Märkischen Kliniken plan to award the management of the cafeteria at the Lüdenscheid hospital as part of a lease agreement. The cafeteria is currently operated in-house. The focus of the concept is currently staff catering. The hospital employs around 1,800 staff members. On working days, between 120 and 130 lunches are currently provided to staff. In addition to the cafeteria, there is currently (2026) a kiosk in the entrance area of the Lüdenscheid hospital. The kiosk area is not part of the award and the kiosk’s offerings are excluded from the exclusivity right. The lease agreement for the kiosk in the entrance area runs until 31.12.2027. It is intended that the kiosk area will be handed over to the cafeteria tenant after the lease. The objective of the award is to ensure high-quality, hygienically flawless and cost-effective supply of patients, relatives, employees and visitors with an offer of meals, drinks and snacks tailored to needs.
