TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Märkischen Kliniken plan to award the operation of the cafeteria in the Lüdenscheid hospital as part of a lease agreement. The cafeteria is currently operated in-house. The focus of the concept at present is staff catering. There are approximately 1,800 employees working at the hospital. At present, between 120 and 130 midday meals are issued to staff on working days. In addition to the cafeteria, there is currently (2026) a kiosk in the entrance area of the Lüdenscheid hospital. The kiosk area is not part of the award and the kiosk’s offerings are excluded from the exclusivity right. The lease agreement for the kiosk in the entrance area runs until 31.12.2027. It is intended that the kiosk area will be handed over after the cafeteria’s lessee. The objective of the award is to ensure high-quality, hygienically impeccable and cost-effective catering for patients, relatives, employees and visitors, with a menu offering tailored to needs in terms of food, drinks and snacks.
