TENDER DESCRIPTION

The boarding school Schloss Hansenberg (“ISH”) is an upper-secondary grammar school with a focus on the natural sciences and economics. It prepares particularly highly motivated and high-performing students* for the Abitur over a period of three years. The school is run by the State of Hesse (Land Hessen). In the boarding-house operation, the canteen forms part of the daily schedule and is of significant importance for the well-being and nutrition education of the students, who are mostly aged 14–19, since the supply of these young people is ensured almost exclusively through the catering offering. The catering concept includes the active involvement of students in preparing meals during learning laboratory time. The willingness of the canteen staff* to contact and exchange with the students, and to take into account, for example, requested meals or to organize themed weeks, is essential for this.
