TENDER DESCRIPTION

Comprehensive renovation of the School building in the City of Young People, which is required after the City of Zagreb was hit by an earthquake on 22.3.2020. Project documentation has been prepared (main and executive designs, bills of quantities) for the comprehensive renovation of the School building (total gross area of 1,388 m2) that was damaged in the earthquake and, based on a static inspection, was designated as “temporarily unusable.” Since the City of Young People implements the program of one-day excursions “School in the forest” (co-financed by the City of Zagreb, intended for pupils in grades 1–4 of primary school) as well as programs for children in kindergarten, it is necessary to renovate the building “SCHOOL” in order to be able to accommodate a larger number of users. Namely, during poor and cold weather, “SCHOOL” was used to implement programs that otherwise take place outdoors, since up to 240 children can be accommodated in that building at the same time.
