TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the tender is to introduce a managed cloud solution in which new and already existing specialist applications can be operated. The procured managed cloud solutions place high demands on IT security and data protection as well as environmental and sustainability management (see required suitability criteria in the application conditions and criteria in the service description). Technically, for DBHN, the topics of performance, availability and scalability are crucial. On the managed cloud infrastructure, data-intensive applications with analysis, evaluation and simulation capabilities are to be operated (BI / corporate planning), which is why a powerful environment is required. The specialist applications are central to corporate management, so their availability must be ensured. In addition, an increasing number of applications are to be operated in the environment, and over time more companies and thus more users will access and use them. For this reason, the scalability of the solution is of critical importance.
