TENDER DESCRIPTION

Our aim is to offer patients freedom of choice regarding which manufacturer’s product is used for cochlear implant devices (hereinafter: CIs) and bone conduction implant devices (BGIs). Of course, this will be done in consultation with a physician. For this reason, we strive to contract all providers on the market, provided that these providers agree to and meet our requirements (all procurement documents). Within this contract we have incorporated the following objectives: • To receive a high-quality supply of products at a market-conform price, taking into account volumes; • Professional and customer-oriented service for the products offered; • To maintain a lawful situation for the LUMC; • The possibility to make use of product innovations and the latest technology. Varying between 359 and 399 units per year, new units and replacements combined. See also table 2 of the descriptive document.
