TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Municipality is carrying out a procurement procedure for the award of the Waste Collection Communication Campaign. The Waste Collection Department Zoetermeer (AIZ) is responsible for the collection and processing of household waste within the municipality. The collection system is based on two principles: convenience for residents and promoting waste separation and recycling. Residents can offer residual waste and GFT+E separately; in low-rise housing, mini-containers are used, and in multi-storey buildings, underground containers are used. In addition, separate collection of, among other materials, glass, old paper, textiles and PBD takes place via central environmental points in the neighbourhood. Since the beginning of 2026, the municipality of Zoetermeer has been applying new waste policy, in which better informing residents is an important measure to achieve the separation targets. The figures below provide an indication of the expected total reduction; no rights can be derived from them. The expected scope of the contract amounts to approximately €935,000 for the coming 4 years. The Municipality has no obligation to purchase volumes and provides no revenue guarantee.…
