TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Borough Council of Calderdale ("the Council") is commissioning a Community Support for Stroke Recovery and Prevention Service, which will focus on the prevention of, and recovery from, stroke. The service will commence on 1st April 2027 for a period of five years, with the option to extend for a period of up to 24 months. The service is designed to provide advice and information about stroke, its impacts and to support recovery, to increase and promote control, choice and independence. The service supports The Care Act 2014 prevention agenda, as well as having a strong emphasis on supporting people to live happy, healthy and active lives in their own communities, maximising independence, promoting health and wellbeing and providing support to remain safe in their own homes and communities for as long as possible A Bidders Event will be held on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 10am via Microsoft Teams.
