TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract is part of the overall renovation of the Complex Plateau - Rozier, protected as a monument “Instituut der Wetenschappen”, Jozef Plateaustraat 22 - Rozier 44 in Ghent. The contract includes restoration works for the exterior and restoration works for the interior, more specifically: - Exterior phase 6.3: demolition of extensions, façade restoration, joinery, roof restoration, landscaping of the inner courtyards B5 and B6 - Interior restoration phase A: architecture, restoration, stability, technical installations (HVAC, sanitary, electricity, data). The approach aims at reassessing the existing historic interior concept, a technical upgrade that prepares the complex for the future and the use of circular materials. This is a contract with very high technical complexity, given the far-reaching restoration and technical interventions, in combination with a building (library) that remains in use and the difficult accessibility in Ghent City Centre (charter site transport of the City of Ghent).
