Leiden University uses a large amount of computer hardware for the performance of its activities. The university therefore requires a single supplier to provide the university with computer hardware, as well as related services such as advice, labelling, and warranty handling. The hardware to be acquired includes desktops, monitors, laptops, and workstations. These are used widely: from laptops and desktops in various types and sizes for university staff, desktops for students, presentation PCs and desktops in educational rooms, to workstations for use in laboratories for scientific purposes.
